Privacy Policy

Ahh, Privacy Policies… The best part of every website. If you are actually reading this, I assume you’re either a lawyer or someone with too much time on your hands. Anyways, here’s the good news: I won’t do any crazy stuff with your personal data: No tracking cookies, no unnecessary plugins or tons of third party processors. Nice for a change, huh? Here’s all you need to know:

What kind of Data I collect

The only kind of personal data I collect is the data you provide through the contact form on this website, that is:

  • Your name (you don’t even have to provide your real name if you don’t feel like it. Heck, call yourself Peter Pan if you want to)
  • Your email address
  • The content of your message

Why do I collect this data?

To sell it to the NSA and Mark Zuckerberg of course! Just kidding, I really only use your data to reply to your message. Look at it like this: How else would I be able to answer your question if you didn’t give me your mail address?

If there is no need anymore to stay in contact with you, I will immediately and irrevocably delete all your data. It’s as simple as that.

Who else has access to your data?

As a generale rule, I do not share your personal data with anyone else. However, I’m using a hosting provider to host this website. That means that this website as well as any data that is submitted via the contact form is stored on the servers of the hosting company, which legally makes them my data processor.

No need to worry though: The hosting provider is bound by a so called data processing agreement. This data processing agreement is a contract between me and the hosting provider. According to this contract, the hosting provider is not allowed to sell your personal data to third parties or otherwise disclose your data unless required by law.

Also, I made sure to choose the server location exclusively within the European Union, meaning that none of your personal data is transferred to so called “Third Countries” (data protection lawyers know why this is a good thing).

If you actually kept reading up to this point, I definitely assume you’re a lawyer or someone with no friends. So if you want to find out more about how my hosting provider processes your personal data, feel free to read the applicable data processing agreement (my hosting provider is called “Hostinger”): https://www.hostinger.com/DPA

What rights do you have?

You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions.

Jokes aside, if you think I’m abusing your personal data or if you just want to know more about how I process your data, feel free to contact me using the contact form on this website. I’d be happy to address your concerns.
